Pavilion presents ‘The Prisoner’s Cinema’, a 35 mm film by artist Melvin Moti. Exploring the optical phenomenon that results from prolonged periods of visual deprivation. Prisoners have repeatedly described experiencing vivid hallucinations of multicoloured light and geometric shapes, a phenomenon that has come to be known as ‘the prisoner’s cinema’.
