11/ Glimpses of Heaven

There’s a beautiful image that comes from the Celtic tradition — a moment and space in time where the gap between heaven and earth is especially narrow. A place where it is possible to touch and be touched by God. These spaces are called “thin spaces” — spaces where we can catch a glimpse of heaven in our everyday world.
The beautiful Emmanuel Centre hosts a series of exhibits, installations and happenings exploring different points where a range of artists find “thin spaces”. Dance, music and visual arts all feature as you’re invited to experience thin spaces for yourself.
There’ll also be a chance to get interactive and share your own thin space.
