As part of the Light Night festival in Leeds, students from Leeds Met’s Innovation North Faculty present a sonic tour of the city as part of a sound installation at the Civic Quarter Campus, staff and students will be on hand to guide you. The installation will allow you to listen and experience parts of the city you have never heard before and in ways you could never imagine. The sounds of the city have been collected by students from the Leeds Met Music Performance course and are represented in various ways. You will be able to listen to the city in the morning, daytime, and at night; experience parts of the city both familiar and unfamiliar through sound as well as here the unique interpretations given the city soundscape by our young composers.
