Basing a advertising poster on ‘a movement in art' was a brief set by the mill team. The intention: to encourage multidisciplinary creative practice and hopefully provoke comment about the lines commonly drawn between creative disciplines. For one night only ‘Light Night 09/10/09', the posters will be exhibited on one of the advertising drums on Briggate - in such a way as to broaden the experience of ‘exhibition' and to challenge the categorisation of ‘art'.

Mill will also be hosting and taking part in performances in Hyde Park.

Mill is a Yorkshire based creative collective aiming to promote creativity and benefit artists: by providing them with information, resources, opportunities and exposure.
