Gleich-zeitig 3 (German for simultaneously) is the third version of Kathinka Walter's installation performance series, which runs for four hours, this time with six performers drawn from various different art forms (live art, dance, music) set in the Great George Street entrance hall of Leeds General Infirmary. The installation performance looks at time-based structures and ways to stretch and compress the sense of time as an exploration of different perceptions of time. Over the four hours Kathinka Walter, as a visible choreographer, conducts the performers and their ways of interaction and separates or joins together the performance elements as necessary.
