Professor Mervyn Heard introduces modern audiences to the weird and wonderful magic lantern entertainments once presented in public halls and private drawing rooms throughout the 19th Century. Adopting various persona, Professor Heard uses amazing hand-painted picture stories, comical scenes of everyday life, moral warnings, and an array of transformation scenes and animated imagesSuitable for audiences of all ages.
